Our Angel Barney
It was with great sorrow that our lovely beautiful boy Barney was put to sleep today on Christmas Morning.
He was just so poorly, it was the last thing we could do for him.
I know he is somewhere beautiful, chasing all those leaves and running, playing and jumping just the way he used to.

OMG Chris, I am at a total loss for words. I am grieving right along with you. I was checking his blog all morning. Saddened as I am for you, I know that YOU know Barney the best and that he must have been in a bad way and so, now, is pain free and no longer suffering. Damn cancer.
Thank you for loving him enough to do the selfless thing and help him go.

Please accept our most sincere condolences. Barney fought the good fight and is now resting in peace and running pain free with Jerry and all our other fallen tripawd heroes. Thank you for sharing his story here.

I am so sorry to hear about young Barney. So unfair and so hard to lose such a young pup. I can’t imagine. My heart goes out to you.

Chris,
I’m so sorry to hear about Barney!!! 🙁 I almost missed this post…
How awful that he had to go on Christmas Eve… but I guess anytime is bad, isn’t it? My heart is breaking for you and your family right now… There are no words that I can say to make your pain go away… Just know this… You did everything you could to help Barney… In the end… we can only do so much. It is never enough extra time we get to spend with our babies… but your Barney fought so hard… and enjoyed his life until the end…
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time… RIP Barney!!

Dear Chris and family: We’re so very sorry. We just fell in love with Barney. We could tell he was a love and also how devoted you were to him. I was looking over your postings—I saw the video for the first time. Barney looked so happy! He seemed to out run Fred–even on three legs! You did everything you could to save him.
You were all very brave. We’re sending our love to you. We’re so very sorry this happened at Christmas. Barney is running free and happy—and watching over you as well. A special hug for Fred. Love, Eve and Romeo

We are very sorry to hear about Barney! He is no longer in any pain and he is running free chasing leaves at Rainbow Bridge! We also lost my big brother Peyton two days after Christmas. We feel your pain. We are thinking of you! I am sending you lots of hugs and licks!
